SO MUCH I HAVENT SAID

I'm going to attempt to lay this all out in one amazingly crazy huge post. This is how the tour went down. And the entire month after. haha...shit.

ok ok ..first things first....







I took off real early in the morning on Feb.8th bound for Orlando to get to our first show of tour.
I got off the plane and called the rest of the band who had been chillin in hotlanta for the weekend. It turned out they were running behind. BY LIKE 7 HOURS!!!

So at this time I hadn't yet left the airport. When I left Detroit it was maybe 30 out. When I left the airport it was 80!!!! soooooooooo awesome!

Anywho!. I showed up at the venue a good 6 hours before the rest of the band even entered Florida.....so i got to walk around all day...at first the sun was awesome...a couple hours in..not so awesome. I checked into a hotel for a few hours and cought some z's before running back to the venue ultimately LATE for the first show! Nice!






I found that video on youtube a couple days later...we played for only 50 some kids..still not horrible but whatever.




I fell asleep after we played and woke up in the van heading for an un-familiar apartment. We didn't have another show for a couple days so we got to literally park the van on Daytona beach the next day to just chilllllll.













On the way home we had a drunk Blink-182 sing-a-long. (cuz thats what pop bands do)







P.S. some girl fell in love with Scab...like for real







From there we headed to Jacksonville. Now I know it was only a couple days into tour but this was when I noticed how cool the dudes one of the other bands were...It even turned out we had alot of mutual friends back in Michigan. I ended up hanging out with them alot for the rest of the trip and even road with them for more than half of it. So go check out "Go Crash Audio" they are some seriously awesome guys.

Our next stop was 13 hours later in Mertyle Beach!

We've been out for a little more than a week now and so much has happened..bridges have been built....

for some reason im having problems uploading pictures so i havent written on here in a while

sometime in the next few days im going to start getting into detail about whats been going on....but for now

ill be in michigan all day tomorrow...lets make something happen

It seems that due to my state of mind I don't have much to say ...I am however easily putting it into the form of songs....its funny how you want to tell a story so badly ..but you cant find words to accurately describe what your feeling ...especially things that are kind of embarrassing otherwise....thats where music saves my life

I've been singing for hours..song writing is undoubtedly my creative outlet....if only i was a smidge better at it

I've also decided that this is going to be my last year of touring with bands unsuccessfully...if it hasnt happened by then i plan to attend music school..and who knows...maybe ill try again someday..if not..i think i can live with producing and engineering records for the rest of my life with no regrets.

Good times sometimes

I got to see alot of old friends tonight..I was the most relaxed Ive been in a long time..sometimes you live your life and dont feel home...tonight was different..nostalgic in a way.

went to the bar with some buddies and watched them get hammered..meanwhile I was medicating substantially..

we then hung around in my friend Ryans basement and just talked abut how crazy things have been for everyone...for me it was nice to hear where everyones been and good to know that nomatter what happens...regardless of the different paths in life we take...or the new people we meet....there will alway be a core group of friends that can get together and just say "wow" if only our middleschool selves could see us now

also, i got to hear the new fireworks record today.......expect nothing less than greatness

i have a feeling in 6 or 7 years kids will be sitting around a campire singing firworks songs much like my generation sings saves the day and brandnew

Snowboard Sesh at 1 A.M.

Last night was amazing. An old friend Curt and I met up for the first time in 9 months to go and Conquer dead mans hill in the middle of the night. Curt ultimately wussed out....I on the other hand kinda just went for it....turns out the hill was all ice...I probably hit a top speed of about 40 before totally wiping out. It was still the funnest thing I've done in weeks...when we got home my brother had a bowl waiting for us...I ended up secretly video taping a good old story that Curt was telling from our youth....it involves a dead squirell

I'm beginning to realize just how simple I actually am...I have a bunch of "philosophical-esque" friends that like to talk about really obvious things that im tired of hearing about...fuck that...im alive...do you seriously think people like me dont think??...or dont notice the same things that you do??

Curt and I made plans to hang out in my parents basement tonight to smoke pot and shoot bb guns in the house..

im so into it...im dusting off the n64 as we speak

Life as of today

first things first...bravest kids played our first show last night at the factory...it was bitchin to see everyone come out and even get a little nuts ....there was a video camera involved so ill make sure and post that when i get a copy.

second thing....stacy and i ended up calling it quits today...im gone a lot and she works crazy hours so i never got to see her..it really sucks but in all reality we've been seperated for almost a month anyway...im disapointed but there not a whole lot i can do about it.

so im single again!.....fuuuuuuckkkkkk

i hate this part.. im not good at talking to new people that i havent really hung out with...but i have no choice because i really dont hang out much anymore....like what do you tell someone that obviously likes the same things as you ....and seems like someone youd totally hit it off with??

NOTHING ---cuz its creepy hahah

So it turns out i get to keep my job after all..i just have to give them 2 weeks notice before i leave from now on ...which is more than reasonable

theres a huge party at my house tonight but i wont be able to go on account of i have a super busy day tomorrow...i have two band practices back to back and then a show.

oh snap! its already 12 ...its off to bed i guess

introduction

I am creating this to better document what ive been doing with my life more accurately ...it seems alot of my friends are slowly fading out of the picture...but im the one who really disappeared...i recently moved out to ypsilanti to try and focus on my music and also recording skills and at the same time meeting some incredible people i would never have met other wise....i think thats awseome...due to budget cuts at work however, i am slowing slipping back into living in livonia...

Traveling is a huge part of who i am lately and its been great..and stressful...so many things seem to be happening at once that i can barely keep up.....but i miss my friends and hopefully ill catch a breather sometime soon so i can have a life haha

but for now ...i have a tour coming up in a week...month long...full national...having a blog might coe in pretty handy
